Models and props for Australian sci fi, The Time Guardian.

As a young model maker, this was fun to be on. We spent months building future time traveling cities, landscapes and cyborgs.

In one sequence, one of the city legs gets destroyed and we built a large model of it to be blown apart.

The city buildings were acrylic boxes with the protective paper cut left to right then up and down, then random pieces pulled out to let light through. It got so hot in front of the lamps that some of the buildings started to melt.
